Can't stop co-sleeping

My little man is just over 5 months old and has pretty much co-slept with me from the beginning. My husband works out of state and it gone for weeks at a time, so I like having my little guy snuggled with me. When my hubby comes home, he bitches about how he needs to be in his crib. I know I'll have to move him at some point, but the thought of it makes me wanna cry. When should I really think about moving him? Anybody else in this boat?
