help me pls

Ok so i met this guy and we were doing amazingly for about three weeks. We had so much fun and he would text me such cute things. Now that school started, both of our schedules got really heavy. And also, now he texts me about three times a day... for a week now... and all three texts are only about school. He will stop answering around 8:30ish.... and never flirts anymore or asks to hangout. I asked him if he was still into me and he said not to worry but now its been a few more days since then and hes been even more dry than ever. Am i wasting my time? He persued me. Idk how im the one caring more here. Please help me. Im at a loss.
