Are baby wraps difficult to wrap and tie by yourself?

I am wanting to get a baby wrap but I have heard they are difficult to wrap and tie by yourself. Is this true? Has anyone ever used one and would you recommend it? Thanks!

Nope! They're super easy to tie. The first couple times are little difficult until you get used to doing it. YouTube how to tie them. There's lots of ways you can wear them. I loved mine.

Try a ring sling. Much easier than a wrap. I have a Boba that I never use....

Not hard at all! There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's really easy! I find it a lot more comfortable than buckle carriers too.

And I can still get her on my back all by myself at 37 weeks pregnant lol

I enjoy my wrap. I will say that the one thing I need work on is wrapping in public. I'm not a fan of the material dragging on the floor as I'm wrapping. I'm interested in seeing how I manage during the winter months. If anyone has some good tips for that...

I have a Solly, can't wait to use it when the baby gets here. I practiced with my dog and he actually loved it so I'm hoping the baby feels the same way!

YouTube  is great to learn how to tie them. My 9 year old daughter thought I lost it when she caught me putting her stuffed monkey in my moby wrap to practice  lol

I got the infantino mei tai at target and played with it and a doll, it was fairly easy and I loved that it was simple.

No, they just take practice. I'd say, depending on the material used, it can be difficult to get a snug enough fit that stays snug. I prefer the shorter ones so I don't have such a large piece of fabric to tie aroundmy body.

I put the k'tan breeze on my registry - no wrapping required - I've heard good things about it but we are also going to buy a baby Bjorn for my hubby to use
