Perfect guy

I've been seeing someone for a while now. I am INSANELY attracted to him, and we have SOOO much in common, and I just love every second of being with him. On our second date, he told me flat-out that he doesn't want kids, and I told him flat-out that I DO want kids.. We both kind of looked at each other, and I think that both of us assumed that we wouldn't want to see each other again. But we just can't stay away from each other, and things are getting more and more serious. Has this ever happened to you, and did you end up staying with him? I haven't been this attracted to somebody in YEARS!!
