SO Looking up ex on facebook??

Engaged and I'm 8 months pregnant with first baby- saw on his Facebook he searched his ex ? They broke up like 3-4 years ago... what would you guys think or react to this like? I have mixed concerns !!

I'm not going to lie, I would be super pissed off and probably start an argument with him. At the sametime I would be a hypocrite because I look up my ex's sometimes. Not because I miss them or anything, just because I'm curious. I know..horrible.

I was with my ex for like 3 years I broke up with him and I'm completely over him I have a new boyfriend and I'm 22 weeks pregnant but I have looked at my exs page from time to time i was just curious lol I don't think it's really bad but I would so where you're coming from but I'm just telling you from what I've done

if he has been flirting with other girls during your relationship.. or you have caught him cheating or so.. then heck yea inwould be furious.. but if hes respectful you and your relationship mayne hes just curious and wanted to see where this person is in life.. just wait and ask.. but still keep checking if its more than once then something fishy is going on :) good luck

I would just ask him why is was doing it. I am happily married and just looked up my ex today- sometimes curiosity just gets the better of us. I was deeply hurt by my ex, so I think part of it is working through that as well. But if it bothers you, tell him why it bothers you & ask respectfully for him not to do so in the future.

I would get hurt 1st, wonder why I wasn't good enough and why he was thinking of her,  then fight with him about it. Then he would explain himself and we would be ok.  Moral of the story...ask him what's up before getting hurt and imagining things!
Btw, I've looked up my and his ex's before,  I just wanna see that they are getting fat (mine) and that his ended up with ugly men compared to my husband!

There's quite a difference between occasional curiosity of the once or twice a year look up, and the regular checking in / tracking her life & photo albums.
  
How many times / how often did he search her? We went through this about a year ago -- he'd started searching 2 exes at least fortnightly. Exes he'd been with 8 months or less 7-9 years earlier. Right as we were signing a lease & about to start IVF.
  
After I discovered it, I cried all week and was scared about how to talk to him about it. The behaviour as more than natural reminiscing. It wasnt once in a while. It wS constant looking back & checking in.
 
I was scared he had unresolved feelings. I was devastated and ready to end things. I spoke to a counsellor about how to have the conversation with him. He saw it was serious. He apologised and deleted them as "friends".

I just admit I have on the odd occasion looked at his history (less & less, more initially) to see if the searches dwindled. It was hard to trust. But I think he has looked up one once, the other one once or twice.
