High Risk Pregnancy ?????

Kayla
During my anatomy scan at 20 weeks my baby's heart rate dropped during the scan. I was then sent over to a pediatric cardiologist to do a fetal echo on my baby's heart. They monitored the heart for about an hour and then the doctor came in to tell me that everything looks fine. Baby is healthy.. They don't know why the heart rate dropped but the heart rate is fine. Then the next day the cardiologist calls me to say she still wants to monitor the heart and made an appointment for me to come in a month later. In addition to that the antepartum unit (who did the anatomy scan, which is also different from OBGYN) still schedules me appointments every two wakes to also take pictures of the heart. My baby now has three different doctors. All three keep telling me that everything is fine yet every two weeks I have appointments and sonograms. Originally my OB told me that I only need once a month appointments until my third trimester. I'm still in my second. Not sure if they just keep telling us everything is fine bc we are a tad but on the young side and they don't want to scare us. Or is everything really okay and they are just being cautious? Opinions ?
