PEOPLE WITHOUT CHILDREN...

How do you tolerate older children like 9-12? Because I can handle little kids just fine, but as soon as they're like old enough to talk back and have bad attitudes I literally just want to wring their necks but I obviously can't lol. And if I tell them they're annoying me they think I'm joking and do it more!!! I don't want to hurt their feelings though so how do I get rid of them nicely?
