UTI effecting HPT results

So I found out I have a UTI and began taking medication. I only had one pregnancy symptom (sore breast) a day before uti diagnosis. I just assumed it was nothing. Took a ovulation test just to see if the line finally disappeared which it didn't so I took a pg test and there was a noticeable faint positive! Then the next day, 3 days being on the medication, I took another test at 3 am it was a bfn. The medication and increased intake of water makes me use the bathroom constantly. I won't be done with the medication for another 3 days. Was wondering even though the actual infection and medication does not affect the hcg does it dilute it to the point of negative result?
