Strep throat ???

Question

I found out today i have strep throat along with a fever, ear infection and for some reason tonsil stones..... Has anyone gotten this before and if you did how did you cure it ? I don't want to take medication I want to try and cure it with natural home remedies and recommendations??

From what I understand viral infections will eventually go away on their own, u can just support yourself w/ lots of rest & lots of fluids, Strep however is a bacterial infection & can only be gotten rid of by taking antibiotics, untreated strep can lead to other more serious issues (I got Mono after strep, mono is not fun, u don't want it!)

I believe if you have strep and don't take antibiotics you risk getting rheumatic fever which is much more dangerous than step. talk to a doctor before you avoid antibiotics.

Stay away from everyone if you're going to try to treat it yourself. But antibiotics are the most effective.

IMO you should really take the antibiotics, but if you're going to try other things, please have the courtesy to stay away from people! Strep is really contagious until you get antibiotics going or get rid of it completely.

I also have strep throat these couple days! I just sleep a lot, like A LOT. Drink lots of warm water and take a hot bath. Oh, and gargle

Yikes. Strep is bad and soooo contagious. Good luck!  I don't know of anything besides antibiotics.
