Birth Control affect Milk Supply???

Question

Just went to my 6 week appt yesterday and got put on Oral birth control. I asked the doc if it would affect my milk supply she said no. But I've heard elsewhere that it will. I've worked hard to establish a good supply. Just wondering what other mommies think

My doctor said estrogen based birth controls will effect milk supply so she put me on a oral progesterone based birth control. I've been on it for a month and it hasn't changed my milk supply at all
