Ambiguous Genitalia

My husband and I were having a discussion about what we would do in various situations if our baby isn't born perfectly healthy. We agreed on everything, except ambiguous genitalia, which is when the baby is born with both sets (for example, a vulva and testes). Traditionally, the parents would choose then and there, and the doctors would assign a sex. The child would then be on hormones the rest of its life. However, there has been a big push in society for people to not do that. Not doing anything, however, can also be just as complicated, since you would not be able to refer to your child as male or female. So I want to know what would you do? What would you REALLY do? And why?
