Worried

I've had my period since I was 8 years old and they have never been regular. I've done everything to figure out why. Doctors don't know and family doesn't either. Normally I'm not to worried about but I'm at that point in my life that I want to start a family. I don't even know how to start preparing if I don't know when my next period will be. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice....
