Swimming for the first time?

Question

When did you take your baby swimming for the first time? Is there anything I need to be prepared for? Mine is 9 weeks old and really want to take him next week xx

I took my son swimming at about 7 weeks but he wasn't it to it as the water was a bit too chilly. We tried again in a warmer pool at 3 months and he loved it!

I took my son at 12 weeks and he wasn't keen - I was surprised because he loves the bath and shower and is a real water baby - we tried again at 5 months and he was a little more comfortable xx

I waited till he was better at holding his head up, prob like 2 and 1/2 months or something like that. I made sure he was sunscreened and the pool was warm so it didn't really phase him lol I just held him and let his feet dangle

Yes I am worried I am going a bit too soon, I have free entry to a holiday park which has a swimming pool it's indoor,  so I guess I could always try to see if he likes it. Thank you for the comments xx
