Am I wrong?

Ok so hubby and I have been blessed with our second pregnancy only this one is a BOY! With my daughter I had my mom and MIL in the room while delivering my daughter I had no problem (although my MIL made my pregnancy hell). So I was telling my hubby I didn't want anyone in the room this time. Just him and I. And he starts complaining that he doesn't know why I don't want his mom or my mom in the room. I personally just feel that since they experienced our first birth with us that maybe my husband and I can enjoy the birth of our son just us. Am I wrong for not wanting anyone in the room this time?

Nope you're not wrong! Im pregnant with baby number 1 and I'm not letting either of them in just me and my husband. You were nice enough to have them the first time he should understand that you just want it to be you 2 this time.

Nope. Not wrong at all. While this is partly your husband's experience, too, you're the one giving birth. It's your body; your stress; your moment. You had them there the first time. They don't need to be there the second time if that's your wish. I don't know why people think they need to make the mom to be feel bad because they don't want anyone in the room minus medical staff.

Nope you are not wrong at all! I'm surprised you let anyone in with your first one. It's so personal and private especially with your first because you have no idea how it goes. It has only been my husband and I and will stay that way. We both agree on it tho and wouldn't want it any other way. Good luck! Hopefully he comes around.
