First Prenatal Appointment!
Went in today for my first prenatal visit at 7 weeks and 2 days. I was very surprised that once my doctor came in she said she would be conducting a vaginal ultrasound right away. I thought the entire time we were going to to be talking and talking for hours on end, but I was wrong! I was super excited and nervous at the same time thinking that maybe I wouldn't see a heartbeat, but to my amazement I saw one!! I started to cry of relief and happiness. Even though I knew I was pregnant I couldn't believe it until I actually saw it on the screen. :D
Now for the unexpected news. The doctor told me I was much earlier than what I thought. Even though my last menstral period was August 27th which puts me at 7 weeks and 2 days, I instead was 6 weeks exactly. It sort of bummed me out because I want to meet my baby and wanted the weeks to fly. I also want to get rid of the nausea! :) Just thought I'd share the happy news that there is in fact a baby in my belly and a heartbeat!
