am I miscarrying?

I'm only about to be 6 weeks. I've had slight cramps. But this is not my first pregnancy so I know the cramps are normal. I was fine. Making dinner then I had a gush of blood. Felt like I peed myself. Sat on the toilet and wiped twice. The first wipe was bright red the Second looked more brownish. I'm in the ER waiting to be seen. I'm so scared. There's no more blood after those wipes. Just slight cramps but not bad at all. Please tell me there's a possibility this is normal or has happened to someone else before. And the pregnancy was fine. I'm trying my hardest to be ok right now. I have had a miscarriage before. But I had really bad cramps and the bleeding started off as spotting.

Just wanted to give an update. Got my uktrasound done today. And  they were able to see the heartbeat! I am a little less than I thought I was. I'm actually only 6 weeks today. Instead of 6w and 4 days as I thought I was. I'm so relieved. Thank you all for your encouraging words.

I'm home now after many hours. Just wanted to say thank you all for your support. I got blood work and an ultrasound done. My levels are at 1800. She said that's really good for 5 weeks 4 days. But they couldn't see the baby's heartbeat on the ultrasound. I also have a small hemorrhage so
They're hoping the bleeding cane from that and not a possible miscarriage. I haven't had any more bleeding. And no cramps. I'm
Really scared but I'm trying to hope that maybe it truly is just too early to see the baby's heart beat. I have to go back Thursday for more blood work and to see the OB.

I had the same thing that early on. Everything is fine with me and baby so far! Currently 15 weeks and 3 days! Mine was a little worse than what you're describing yours as. I would spot the whole day for like 2 weeks straight and had a clot come out. I was terrified but I was on a cruise ship for part of it and couldn't do anything about it. I just tried not to stress over it.

I don't go for an US until Monday. But I got my levels checked today. They were at 1800 Monday night when I went to the ER and today they were at 41,168! So I'm definitely more confident that everything is ok. But waiting until Monday to see it we get to see a heartbeat

I'm going to get my levels drawn today. Really hoping they have doubled. I won't see the OB for another ultra sound until Monday. But if I at least know my levels are going up I won't go crazy for the next few days. Wish me luck

I got a call from the nurse today. They want me to Do blood work tomorrow. And Monday morning. Prior to seeing the OB she wants me to wait until Monday instead of coming in tomorrow. I'm going to go crazy for another 5 days. I had a spot of brownish blood this morning. And I was only 5 weeks and 4 days when I went in on Monday So she told me not to worry myself too much.  Because the bleeding Could've been because of the hemmoraghe and that  the fetal pole may not have been visible because I was so early on. So that it's best to give it a week. I don't know how I'm not going to go mentally crazy for 5 days waiting. This is truly killing me.
