I'm so confused did I do right by leaving

So I been in a 3 year relationship so a couple months ago I find out he's engaged to someone else I feel so wrong and so guilty for sleeping with him even after the fact and know he says I'm treating him wrong and I'm suppose to be there from him I love him so much and I cry myself to sleep every night
