What do you do if you find out someone in your workplace is talking shit about you?

You work with them and are around them all day. Should you care? Should you be mean? Should u be nice?

Its impossible for everyone to like you. Don't take it personally. In fact, act as if you have no idea and just keep doing your job and being courteous.

I found out my boss was talking shit about me to my coworkers.. she always preached about professionalism so it really bothered me but I never confronted her. It just made me trust her less honestly.. I stopped confiding in her and didn't really consider her a friend anymore.  Before that we had drinks together, took our dogs to the park together etc. I wouldn't cause a scene at work but sometimes it's good to know what kind of people you're dealing with .

Don't even indulge in their games. They are petty and everyone can see them for what they are. Ignore them. "Lions don't lose sleep over the opinion of a sheep". You are stronger, smarter, and more mature than them.
