stds and husband

I went to the gynecologist last Wednesday for birth control. They did a pelvic exam and said everything looks good. They also tested me for stds. I've never been tested but I've had 4 partners and am now married. I'm almost positive I have one because I was stupid and didn't always use protection. I'm scared it would have turned into pid or left me infertile, or would they see that during a pelvic exam? Also how the hell do I tell my husband?! Uhhhg so scared and nervous. Waiting for the call
