At Risk?

Hello ladies! I am currently 25 weeks pregnant with baby number 2! I have a (almost) 15 month old ds, and this baby is a girl. I got pregnant with her when ds was 9 1/2 months old. My question is, I've heard if you get pregnant again within the first year after you give birth, you are at risk to go into premature labor, and the likely hood of it, is high. I've gone to doctor google, and found some mixed answers, and I totally forgot to bring it up at my doctors appointment. So, since I got pregnant at almost 10 months post partum, am I at risk for premature labor?

I've heard it's a legitimate risk, because your body doesn't fully heal until 12-16 months. But I've known quite a few women who've gotten pregnant really quickly postpartum and haven't had any issues. It definitely can happen, but I don't think it's as common as some say it is.

I am 34 weeks pregnant with #2. I got pregnant when #1 was 5 months old. I haven't had any problems yet.

My best friend got pregnant when her first was about 9 months old and even though she had her first early, she was a little over 40 weeks with her second. Both babies were born healthy and happy, I'd not worry about it unless your doctor has concerns.

Me and my sister are a year and 2 weeks apart both of us were healthy. My sister was 3 months when they told my mom she was pregnant with me.
