monthly formula budget?

Hello! I just need some advice on monthly budget for formula... I'm currently pumping my milk and bottle feeding her and sometimes we supplement with formula too. I need to get back to work in 15 days and we decided to switch to formula completely. We are currently using enfamil newborn formula for our 8 week old baby girl. Any idea how much a month to month expense of formula will be? We are on a scheduled budget right now so any advice would be greatly appreciated.. thank you!

We use the Kirkland brand which is almost identical to enfamil and we spend less than $50/month

Well luckily your child doesn't seem to have issues yet!! My daughter was on Nutramigen and ate about 25-35oz a day. She goes through 13 or 14 cans a month so it comes to about $378! She just recently within the last month switched to Regular Enfamil Infant and seems to be doing great. I coupon hardcore and buy 3 or 4 bigger tubs of it a month. And I never pay more than $3-$6. Depending if I get walmart generic brand of it or actual brand. I get parents choice coupons and enfmail coupons and watch ad's to price match etc. So now its only been about $20 a month!

I get formula at costco. I pay 25$ for a 1.36kg tub and when my daughter was strictly on formula I'd go through one can every 10-12 days depending on how much she ate.

For me...a month we spend at least $125. He goes through a case every 6 days and it's about $25 per case. Baby is strictly formula and eats 4 Oz everytime.

I breastfeed and do formula, it's around $60 plus tax a month for the gerber gentle tummy kind, but I just found the Walmart brand and it's only $20!! I may add I stay home so it may be a little more a month for you, but not by much;)

With my last I used the walmart brand formula (parents choice?) And my daughter did outstanding with it! Plus it was so much cheaper then the Enfamil, etc.

I never figured out the budget exactly, but I know that at 2 months, my baby was plowing through one and a half 20oz cans a week. She was a big baby and a big eater, so ymmv. (For the record, she's 5 months now and doesn't eat that much any more. Their appetites fluctuate a lot!)

If money is tight, I definitely recommend getting the store brand formula. It's the same stuff and sometimes it's almost half the price!
