In laws and Christmas

La
So our baby is due Dec 26th but I'll be induced a week early thanks to GD. My father in law has chemo that same week so planning Christmas this year is quickly becoming tricky. My in laws are putting on the full court press with making sure we do our Christmas party with their family after baby is born because they want to pass her around and because my father in law won't be able to see her right away due to his low immune system. I'm trying to grit my teeth and smile but having my few week old baby being 'passed around' is getting me really nervous but it's hard to say no since my father in law can't see her in the hospital or even shortly after. I suggested we do Christmas before she arrives considering the circumstances with chemo, but they're like, NOPE! Christmas has to be with the new baby! 😬😩 not to mention, there is the very possible reality that this could be the last Christmas with my father in law. My husband is really struggling with the situation, his dad having cancer and cancer treatments the same time our first born arrives. I'm kind of starting to dread this Christmas season. Any advice?
