for those who are wondering why your newborn is only happy in your arms

Reading and learning about the fourth trimester helped me a great deal. I have a six week old who absolutely will not fall asleep unless I'm carrying him or he is in the boba wrap. I've tried a swing, bouncer, rock n play, just placing him in his bed, and white noise but nothing worked. This left me feeling chained to my baby/couch/glider  and I felt like this would never end and I didn't know how I would ever be able to get anything done. Knowing this is just part of having a baby gave me the strength and patience I need. It's hard raising a child but I know there is a light at he end of the tunnel.
