circumcision help?

I have a 1 week old who was circumcised about 1 week ago and his little thing is still red and bleeds sometimes. Dr said if it's not bigger than a dime it is normal but still kinda worries me . Any experience with this ? I do put Vaseline on it like de said to keep it from sticking to the diaper

My son was red for a week or two, but didn't bleed. If you're following the after care instructions and it doesn't seem to be healing or is causing you concern, I'd call his pediatrician. Better to be safe than sorry.

My son took about a week to two weeks to completely heal it was red and a little swollen it didn't bleed though. The bleeding with his stopped almost immediately and then we didn't have any bleeding after that. I put tons of vaseline on it every diaper change.  I had the pediatrician look at it on his next visit because I felt like it didn't heal right. If you're worried about it take him in and just have them check it out to reassure you.

We put a bunch of a and d on our sons, like an excess every time we chanfed him. It's better to do too much than too little.. his never bled once and healed so quick.

My babe is 9 months old now. But we didn't have to do anything to it unless poop got on it the Dr said to squeeze warm water from a towel onto it.

It stayed red for about a month,  but he didn't have any bleeding or issues

Girls I'm just here to tell you to make sure you retract and then put the Vaseline on.. my son has penile adhesions bc I wasn't told to retract it back at every diaper change

My son is a week old and no bleeding. Almost completely healed. I still put Vaseline on it just in case it's uncomfortable to him.

The only thing I can say is we used bacitracin every diaper change and it was healed it about 2 weeks.
