period after a loss

Well today make 5 weeks since my D&C. As I've been impatiently waiting for my period to hopefully start as I knew I didn't get pregnant right away liked I'd hoped I would I'm welcoming AF with open arms. I was doing a cervix check and my discharge was bloody, dark blood. But blood non the less and then when I wiped after I went to the bathroom there was a very very minimal amount of blood and so I have determined AF should completely arrive by Friday and I'm so relieved bc now I can actually start trying for our rainbow baby. I can't believe how happy I am to know my period is on it's way but I am. I feel a bit of normalcy again and now realize why I was so hormonal the last few days. Anyway with that being said to the ladies waiting for their next period...it will come! And when it does embrace it and know this means your rainbow baby is that much closer! XOXO ❤️
