Depo shot

So im 16 years old I started the birth control pill in August in October I found out that blood clots formed on my lungs so I have to have something less hormonal I got the shot I haven't have a period in over a two months almost more the doctors said get the IUD we tried the doctor tried many times but my cervix is to tight but I was my idea I bleed for a week and a half but I wasn't my period tho so is that normal or am I just being paranoid
