Birth control and pull out method?

Would birth control and the pull out method be safe enough to prevent pregnancy? What if he pulls out but a little still gets inside but I'm on birth control? I recently started Birth control pills and I want to try sex without a condom

I was on the pill for a long time and didn't use anything else & he didn't pull out all the time either and I was okay but there is always a chance of getting pregnant on the pill so just be aware of that. It's low but it happens.
