Help Me Please

so earlier today my boyfriend told me that someone took a picture of me during class while talking and sitting next to my friend, i asked him "who?" and he wouldn't tell me. so i got extremely upset. and then once he tells me i get even more upset because i don't know this person like that. and then he told me that this was his ex and his best friend now. should i be mad?
