Rant- SMOKING WHILE PREGNANT
RANT:
My sister-in-law found out she's pregnant tonight. Her boyfriend (of 6 weeks) is there when she tells our family, and I'm doing my best to be polite and hold in how much my inner bitch wants to come out. I just don't see him sticking around. I feel bad for her, but she made the choice to have unprotected sex and this is one of the main consequences. She's also 30 years old and has a 7 year old so she definitely knows better.
She's completely stressed and overwhelmed, but she's 100% sure she's keeping the baby. But, in the middle of all this chaos she just caused she announces she's going outside to have a cigarette to help her calm down. Ok.
At this point I'm about to lose it. She said she needed to smoke because it helps her calm down and stress isn't good for the baby. SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY! SERIOUSLY?!
I'm amazed at this amount of ignorance. I know it's none of my business, but come on. I absolutely cannot with this whole situation.
