Scammer? What do you think?

It's a little hard to explain or might be confusing but I'll try and explain as best as I can. I've noticed certain things that sent red flags up in my mind.

So my friend has been dating someone she met online for about a year. They haven't met in person yet. He told her he's in the military stationed overseas. He was supposed to visit last Christmas but didn't and was supposed to again another time and again didn't. He has a child in another state in the care of his mother. Ex left child couldn't be military wife.

Oh and my friend and him plan on getting married next month and moving to another state. Anyways when they first "got together" he would send her a little money here and there wiring it. Then it was him wiring her money to wire to a friend? That stopped for now but last time she received 2 laptops and I had asked her what were they for she had recently purchased a new one as well ( that he supposedly bought her) well she said he wanted her to mail them to some military buddy of his out of country. ❗ of course I googled the address and the house looked abandoned with graffiti while the houses around didn't look that bad so I told her I think something fishy why out of country if its a gift why didn't he ship directly to person. I thought. She didn't send them but ended up talking to him and he told her to sell them and send him money. But then he told her to mail them to someone else that lived in another state. Well she did and that passed but now she's been receiving dozens of packages apparently he wants her to send the stuff out as well they are christmas gifts supposedly. My friend opened one while I was there and it had a 300 receipt in it and 5 wallets priced at $20 each I'm guessing the other 200 worth was in other box. I once again told her I think something seems weird and she agreed and said she was going to speak to him about it.

Next day a small package arrives it's a ring that is supposed to be her engagement ring. I'm not one to judge but this ring looks like the one my kids get from gumball machines 😥 and again I asked about the packages and she says she was going to send them still.

I have no idea how to help her or even if I should. I've tried looking up info but it's hard to find one thing specific.

My friend is maybe 10 yrs my senior I've known her all my life she has always been somewhat of a loner and a in her youth messed around a lot and ended up getting sick. She takes a lot of meds daily depression anxiety she's more of a homebody that's kinda the reason I don't want to press her on it but I need help figuring out a way to explain to her without hurting her :(

Has anyone ever heard of something like this or know something about it?
