Would you save your pet?

So I'm a vet tech. I've seen many times where an animal needs a life saving surgery that costs $2000+ and they opt to put them down instead. I can see and understand both sides to this. Luckily if I were in this situation with both my pets I'd have a huge discount. What would you do? And at my clinic you have to pay the full price up front...no payment plans
