Jealous of pregnant women??

I want to preface this by saying I AM NOT TTC AND WILL NOT TTC FOR A FEW YEARS. This is not for the women who are TTC and are jealous of other moms success of getting pregnant. This is for women that one day dream of having a baby, like myself, but aren't ready for one yet due to school/finances/jobs etc... several of my friends have had unplanned pregnancies, in fact I went with one today to her first ultrasound, but the whole time I was so happy and excited for her I was just as jealous. Do you think it's okay to be jealous if im NOT TTC?

I think it's natural to be a little bit. Especially if biologically you are in your child bearing prime. Feeling that way and acting badly because of it are two different things

I'm in the same position. We're waiting atleast 2/3 years to ttc so we can graduate, get good jobs, buy a house, get married, etc. Even though we have good reasons to wait that we both decided on, I still can't help but feel so negative everytime I see a positive test or a pregnant woman. I just try to remind myself that I don't know how long or what they've been through to have that baby. It's hard though, I just got diagnosed with suspected endo and  adeno which can potentially affect fertility. I know it's hard, but try and stay positive! Think of all the things you can do before you have a baby

I get that feeling sometimes! I had my third and probably last baby almost 11 months ago.. my sister in law is 7 months pregnant and I find myself feeling a little jealous which I always think is silly because that was me just last year! But I can't help it.. I do not want more kids but I loved being pregnant and experiencing all those moments-ultra sounds, baby moving, belly growing. I feel sad at times that I probably won't ever have it again. Then I remind myself how my baby now sleeps through the night after 8 MONTHS of never sleeping, always crying...and I don't feel so jealous anymore haha. She will be going through the night feedings and exhaustion soon enough while I will be sleeping peacefully 😜

It's natural girl. I'm the same way. Like I can't wait for the day I'm going through that even though I don't want it now. As long as you aren't being bitter towards her then a little jealously is normal

I'm in the same boat! I know I'm not ready for it but I still get jealous nonetheless. I'm still extremely happy for anyone though who manages to fall pregnant

It took us four years to concieve and YES, I was jealous when other women were getting pregnant, especially if said pregnancy was an accident, unplanned, or their third or fourth baby. It's a natural human emotion.

Yes! I get so jealous seeing all these girls on my Facebook getting pregnant and getting to feel the connection, but I know I am in no way ready to be a mom.

I know them feels. Tomorrow is my fiances fam. Christmas party and I know by the time we leave I will b overwhelmed with emotions cuz of all the babies 😊🍼. Were waiting till we hopefully move to a larger place in July.
