Wish he would focus on my needs a little rant
I'm 8 months pregnant and throughout my whole pregnancy I feel like my husband has been selfish and not really caring about my needs at all. He's in the army and he's trying to get into a different program (despite my concerns) and so that's all he's cared about. It's all he talks about and he literally ignores me when I try to talk about anything else besides him and his working out. We're constantly spending money to get him all these things he needs to workout and he has leg pain so I've been trying to help him and be supportive but I'm really getting sick of it. He's gone to ONE doctor apt in like 4 months because I pretty much told him he has to, and it's not like he couldn't go to any he just never tried to. And now, after I've spent SO MUCH on him for Christmas he says we need to go get him $100 running shoes plus $40 inserts so he can run and not hurt his legs. I tried telling him that we don't have the money yet because of Christmas and I have to get dog food and cat litter this week but he got mad. The thing is, I'm 8 months pregnant and have never bought anything for myself besides one pair of cheap maternity pants. I have no shoes that are comfy to walk in, I'm always doing everything around the house because he refuses to do anything but watch tv and workout. I have things i have to buy for the baby but can't afford yet and he expects to just go get expensive shoes? I'm so annoyed. He also expects that right after the bay is born to go on leave to his parents for two weeks. He wants to leave like two weeks after he's born!!! And then after that he leaves for almost a month for this program. I cant talk to him about my pregnancy without him barely responding or telling me I'm being a baby and I'm "not that pregnant". I just want to curl up in a ball and cry 😔
