Which sleep method will you implement?

I would never co-sleep. Too many horror stories on accident infant deaths!

Whatever works for the baby works for me...except Co sleeping. My friends baby died Co sleeping... Accidentally smothered by dad. It was AWFUL.

I have conslept from day one, i just felt way more comfortable with her in my arms and I'm a light sleeper. I have started to put her in her crib in the beginning of the night. She does fine lol but I stress out 😩

My child will be sleeping alone, on his/her back in a crib, which will be in our bedroom. No other way is an option.

I do co sleep with a dock a tot and also the bed add on. We switch back and forth. I'll usually go with what she's wanting that night.

A bed add-on because I like my room in the bed and my husband already squishes me lol, and I'm going to breastfeed so I want my baby close. There are benefits of them being close to you, like your own breathing can regulate theirs and massively lower the risk of sids. You can make a sidecar crib from a $60 IKEA crib very easy which is what I'd do (pic below). I'd probably keep them in this until about a year when they can easily move themselves around so I don't have to worry about the covers or pillows suffocating them as much, and then just put them in the bed with us and put the crib all the way together and in their room.

I usually mix it up. Some nights one method worjs better and the next night something else may work better.

I would like to co-sleep with a docatot or something similar. I plan on breastfeeding so it sounds like the best method for me. The idea of co-sleeping scared me at first that I may roll on the baby but I've heard a lot lately how much people love it and how mother's have an instict to wake up if the baby moved. So we're going to try it and see how it goes. If I don't like it, we will have a bassinet by the bed or move the crib into our room for the first few months.

Depends. Sustain age and size things. Small baby sleeps with me while dad sleeps on couch, big baby sleeps wherever they will, once they can walk they get a short bed. I've had trouble getting my baby sister to sleep by herself because my mom would always hold her during her naps. But I did once so if dad does that to me whit our kid then I'm not going to fight the kid on where they sleep. I'll let my 5 year old sleep in the yard of they so desire. Why have more stress than necessary?
