spotting 6 dpo

Me and my boyfriend had sex multiple times during my fertile window, my cycle varies sometimes I was on birth control a few years ago. But I usually run 28-31 day cycle. I think I ovulated on the 26th of December, we had sex on the 24th and the 27th. Ever since the 26th I have had tender breast(usually occurs during my ovulation) and bloating(also occurs during my ovulation). But for the past few days I have been feeling extremely nauseated, continuously on and off all day for about the past 4 days. We went out for New Year's eve around 7:30 to the bar(I did not drink) and had to leave around 10:30 because I was sick to my stomach. I have been eating anything and everything recently I feel like a bottomless pit. Yesterday I'm thinking was 7 dpo because like I said I think I ovulated on the 26th. Yesterday 2/2 I had spotting. Very light brown. I had a tampon in because I have been cramping really bad thinking my period may be coming early. But I went through one light tampon all day. Could I be pregnant? I have not take a test yet and are scheduled to get my period around the 7th. Should I wait and see if I get my period? Or should I test now? Thanks for any of the responses!
