Period hasnt come back after using tampon

I had my period for 3 days.. I put a tampon on so i can workout.. When i was done i took the tampon off and it wasnt much blood on it.. I took a shower and my period has just stopped completely.. It the next day and my period still hasn't come back. ..my period always last foe 6 to 7 days... Does anyone know why its stopped right in the middle when i used a tampon and worked out? Im guessing it might come back later today or tomorrow but its weird to me!
