getting an IUD today for the first time... Advice please
Hey all :)
So this is my first time posting and getting an IUD. Following years of my period / hormones escalating and causing my epilepsy to get so bad that on my last period over the past 2 weeks, I barely left my house because my seizures got so bad. So I've decided (and finally can afford) to get one.
And now I'm terrified.
Luckily, my family and friends are all pretty supportive, but I can't talk to them because they're so worried about me all the time and I don't want to worry them anymore, so I'm pretending to be super confident and happy... but really, I'm so scared.
I've heard the first week after getting it is the worst, so any survival tips would be really really appreciated!
