Paraguard Periods

I got a paraguard almost two months ago now ! The first period started at the reception of my wedding and lasted my whole honeymoon and it was HORRENDOUS. Constant dizziness, changing of pads five times a day for ten days, and insane cramps. Does anyone have any advice to helping these side effects ? I started again today and I know it's only a matter of time before she opens the floodgates full force.
