I think I have a hemorrhoid??

I think I gave myself one after trying to hit a PR at the gym the other day. I've bent over in front of the mirror and there's a tiny little bump/ball right around my anus. It doesn't hurt but occasionally gets itchy so I've been putting hydrocortisone on it. This is the first time I've ever had one. My SO is out of town and I'm super self conscious of him seeing it. Is there any way to get it to go away????
