Teething remedies!?!

My almost 6 month son is working on cutting his first tooth. I went to buy orajel today only to find out its not recommended for children under 2. He's been gnawing on carrots all day, but I need other ideas! He's not really good at holding things and putting them in his mouth yet. I do have one of those little net things you put fruit in, but haven't tried it yet. We get his tummy troubles fixed, and now he's teething! Poor baby cant catch a break 😫😢😭
