5weeks pregnant cervix?

I am exactly 5 weeks pregnant (according to lmp) and a few days ago my cervix was very high and soft as it should be. Today I am feeling quite a bit a cramping and back pain, and though my cervix is still high it feels semi firm. I'm worried this means I may miscarry? I understand I'm very early and I'm still in the scary stage with many other women so maybe this seems silly. But I can't help but worry. pregnancy anxiety on top of generalized anxiety disorder is just a nightmare right now.
