Beyond Annoyed

My mother is African American but my father is Italian. My entire family (on moms side) is multiracial and we don't see color. Well its diff with my SO's family. They are very pro black and I don't mind it until they start making stupid comments. Like I made my own shower invitations and put a cute little baby with a crown on it. His family kept asking why did I put a white baby on it because they're not white or how they've taken over my shower and everything is we've found a cute black baby for this or some black babies to put on top of the cake and I keep thinking I don't care what color the baby is. I'm not all the way black myself. Am I being crazy because this is literally starting to irritate tf out of me.
