Hi everyone. So I'm 17, and my mom is taking me to a gynecologist for the first time soon because I've been having a lot of problems. I've been having problems with my period, my bladder, I've been showing symptoms of endometriosis, etc. and I'm just really scared. I don't know what they're gonna do? I've never not had my mom with me, and I want her to be in there, but at the same time I feel like I would feel more comfortable being by myself if they have to ask me any questions... also, I have a very funky smell and I don't want the gyno to smell it :/ I don't know if it's normal or not but I have a very strong scent. It isn't nasty smelling, it's just normal, but it's very very strong. Do you guys have any advice? Do you prefer a male or a female? Do I need to be cleanly shaven? I feel really scared and nervous. I know that it's a doctor and that it's their job but I'm just scared
