Is there a such thing as love at first sight??

My friend and I, are having a debate around this question and we'd like to see what others are thinking on the subject.

You can like like someone at first sight. You can admire them. But I think love comes through experience with someone. It come with trials you go through together. "Love" at first sight isn't real.

Well....I think there could be. I mean I knew I was going to marry my husband before I ever actually saw his face. It was dark and he was just a big shadow. He introduced himself and shook my hand and I was like "he's the one.." really weirded me out at the time but we're married and have a pretty great life together so....

I think there can be attraction and admiration but love comes from experiences, good and bad. That's not something you can get at first sight. Buuuuttt call me crazy, I do kinda believe in soul mates
