First trimester fears

Hi ladies, I'm about 7w1d, this is my first pregnancy. Two days ago I went to the ER for heavy bleeding, it was the scariest 6 hours of my life. They did blood work and ultrasounds, my HCG levels were about 11500 but unfortunately nothing could be found on the ultrasounds. The doctor have us options; I miscarried, carrying twins that somehow rose up in the uterus or its an ectopic pregnancy.
