when did you start telling people?

I am really early on and very excited but very anxious until I see that little baby and heartbeat. My husband has already told his brother, his co workers, and a couple of friends. It's making me soooo paranoid and emotional. When did you announce? Is having this much anxiety normal? (Btw, this is my first)

We told our kids, family and friends the first day we found out. We all know things can happen but we feel better knowing if something does our loved ones will be right with us. It's a huge stress relief for us knowing we have support.

I told my closest friends who I also work with right away and then we told our parents at 8 weeks (mainly waited so long because it was Christmas and wanted to surprise them when we saw them) and then  Facebook at 12 weeks

I told my parents and in-laws at 5 weeks. I felt like I was hiding something from them/lying by omission so we decided to share the news early. A couple of weeks later we told our siblings and closest friends.  Waiting until  13-14 weeks to tell extended family and friends. Not doing a big announcement on social media or anything. Others will find out as news spreads.

I totally got way too excited and announced at 6 weeks lol!! But I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and baby boy is healthy and I'm happy I've had so much support from early on :)
