Ok AF is due in about a week. I've been using opk strips since my last AF. Is today close?! I noticed white discharge on my underwear when I went to the bathroom so decided to use a stick.

Please keep updated.  I used thee tests myself this month and they confused the heck out of me.   I think I know when I had a positive just not 100% sure.
