postpartum shapewear?

Okay, so what's the deal with postpartum shapewear? I was looking at pictures of myself before I got pregnant and the whole time I thought I was fat, my stomach was flat lol. I've gained a lot of weight this pregnancy, plan to at the very least get my prepregnacy body back, if not get a more toned version of prepregnancy body. Also, my momma has the pouch :( she warned me about it lol I feel like I'm already starting to get it. I'm due in 2 weeks. Help me out!

I always have gone back to a size 2/4 after every single child. I give myself a year to get back in shape lol. My belly is flat and toned. You are not doomed to a mumma pooch.

I'm going to be honest with you this is my second and with my first I was all belly. After my daughter was born i had what looks like loose skin and it wouldn't go away. I had a flat stomach before and nothing seems to help to get my old body back. The pouch is there so I will be following because after this baby is born in need my old body back
