Metronidazole and BV
Okay so my dermatologist prescribed Metronidazole for my acne but I haven't been using it too much because my skin has cleared up a lot (yay) anyway, recently I've been having some unusual discharge. It smells different than what I'm used to. I went to my PCP a few weeks ago and got an std test to see if it was that but it came back clear. I'm thinking maybe it's bacterial vaginosis so my question is: would you think it's a good idea to use my Metronidazole for that even though that's not what my doctor prescribed it for?
