DO NOT PUT BABIES ON THE COUNTER PLEASE!!!!

I know it sounds like common sense, but please do NOT put your baby on the counter! 
My firefighter father got called out to a heartbreaking scene today. A 5 month old who was being watch by her grandmother was placed on the kitchen counter in a seat (maybe bumbo or sit me up, didn't specify) and somehow she fell off of the counter. Maybe she wiggles, maybe she leaned, maybe she was just happy and threw her arms up. Who knows! The little baby landed right on her head, and ultimately this was a fatal fall. She had a hematoma, internal bleeding on the brain. I have a 3.5 month old and after hearing this I was practically in tears😭 
PLEASE I see so many posts of mamas placing their babies on the counter while cooking etc. Even if they don't move yet- accidents like this happen!!! That is why they are called accidents. Please don't take the chance ❤️

Ugh never. It just doesn't sound safe. They have high chairs, walkers, and other things for a reason. 😬😬😬

My mom put my little sister on the kitchen table in her car seat. She kicked her legs so hard (playing) the whole seat flipped and fell face down to the floor. She could have died but my mom had her strapped in. It's that story that keeps me putting my son on the floor and strapped in whatever seat he's in.

My husband used to like to loosen our son's carseat straps when we were at the store or walking, till the day he forgot to tighten them and drove home that way. 😠 I can't imagine what would have happened if he was in an accident.

My son fell from my bed te other day when I was watching him and I sobbed for hours thankfully he landed on the pile of throw pillows and was fine but it's terrifying and when they move they can go a lot more than you think they can. You always need to watch your kiddos and think about what could happen.
